Novotus and St. Edward’s University’s Career Planning Office and their Professional Education Center are co-hosting and co-sponsoring the first annual Career Connects summit, a unique networking opportunity for career minded Austinites. This all-day networking event combines social media & technology, along with passionate employment experts and diverse local employers to create a truly empowering conference for career seekers.
Attendees will be provided lunch, as well as learning sessions, panel discussions, and a unique opportunity to network with other professionals. In addition, the first 250 registrants will receive a Poken (a social business card) which will allow attendees to share contact information digitally. A happy hour is being held in the onsite Network Lounge, directly after the event.
We have several strategic learning sessions going on throughout the day, covering multiple topics, including “Networking in Real Life,” “Career Exploration,” and “Outside Your Comfort Zone.” Our shorter, more Q & A oriented panel discussions will cover topics related to Healthcare, Green Energy, Government, and Technology career paths.
