Event Notes:

Book: Repositioning: Marketing in an Era of Competition, Change, and Crisis
Authors: Jack Trout with Steve Rivkin

In this meeting we will listen to an audio transcript summarizing the popular business book. It is not necessary to read the book before attending this session.
A little bit about the book ...

In order to lay the foundation for repositioning, the book starts by reviewing the essence of positioning. Positioning is how you differentiate yourself in the mind of your prospect.

Repositioning is how you adjust perceptions, whether those perceptions are about you or your competition. In both cases, in order for your strategy to work, you must first understand how the mind works or how people think.

This book was just published and it seems like an important topic if it provides insight into how we think. The session facilitator is especially eager to see if it can provide viable guidelines for managing perceptions.

Please join us for a synopsis of this interesting book.

Food and drink are allowed. Bring note taking supplies. Transcripts will be available but collected back to preserve copyright. You may order your own copy of the transcript or audio of the book summary from Audiotech Book Summary http://store.audiotech.com/search.cfm

This event is free, but registration is required so we can ensure there enough transcripts for everyone.
