ASTD Austin recognizes that many professionals possess professional certification to enhance their knowledge and recognize their experience. In order to maintain the majority of professional certifications various CEUs can be required. Therefore we offer all of our members who attend a seminar or program continuing education credit certificates.
We strive to align all of our programs with the ASTD Workplace Learning Professional (WLP) Competency Model. Click the model diagram below for more detail on the ASTD WLP Competency Model.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a recognized method of quantifying participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. Please recognize though we provide CEU certificates for any member attending a program or seminar, it is the member's responsibility to verify with their certification board if the credits are accepted.
